SESSION TYPES & PRICING

Pet portrait sessions are held inside the safety of my residential studio. Sessions are high-energy, fun, and creative. Since pets normally respond best with their owner/s present, in most cases I will have you join in on the fun while assisting with your pet during the shoot.

SESSION TYPES AND PRICING

THE FULL STUDIO SESSION $500 (includes a $250 credit towards your print purchase)

This session includes approximately 60 minutes of shooting time with up to 2 subjects.* A variety of images, both candid and posed, will be captured. Props such as toys, beds, etc. may be included if desired. One background change is also included if desired. The Full Studio Session usually results in 30 – 40 images from which to choose.

*Additional subjects are $25 each and must be arranged for during session booking so that we may have an extra assistant available during the session if necessary.

THE MINI STUDIO SESSION $350 (includes a $200 credit towards your print purchase)

This is a 30 minute session for 1 animal only. A variety of images, both candid and posed, will be captured. Props such as toys, beds, etc. may be included if desired. One background will be used for all session images. The Mini Studio Session usually results in 10 – 20 images from which to choose.

RESERVING YOUR SESSION

A deposit of 50% of the session fee is required to reserve your session. The remaining 50% is due on or before the day of the session. Due to the lengthy set up required prior to a professional photo session, advance notice of at least 24 hours is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations without 24 hours notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

PRIOR TO THE SESSION: HOW TO PREPARE

We will have a pre-session consultation to discuss what your goals are for the shoot, what colors you wish to use, any dietary or temperamental concerns you might have regarding your pet, how to best prepare your pet for its session, etc.

DURING THE SESSION: WHAT TO EXPECT

Pets are given time to inspect the surroundings and become comfortable before shooting begins. We go at their pace, but most pets get over the initial excitement of being in the studio within 20 - 30 minutes after arrival and are ready to begin their photography session. This acclimation period is not counted against actual shooting time.

AFTER THE SESSION: THE VIEWING

Approximately one week after your session, you will return to the studio to view and select your images.
